個人成績:40 % a.個人作業:20% (課堂練習+線上回覆+課堂參予) b.小組作業:15% (課堂練習+線上回覆+課堂參予) c.出席:5% 缺席一節課扣2分,遲到扣1分 【本課程實施寒假學習計畫】 如遇臨時停課之遠距教學實施措施如下 : 1.本次遠距教學教學實施共占平時成績之20%。 2.數位教材於每週原上課時段前上傳完成,請同學至數位學院觀看每週之教學影片。 3.自本週上課時段起至下週上課前,同學須完成教學影片閱讀,未閱讀同學視為當週缺課,並予以扣平時成績5%。 4.期中、期末如遇停課,則以線上測驗替代,並依教學計畫表公布之占比評分(期中30%、期末30%)。 5.除觀看教學影片外,另實施Zuvio線上測驗1次(10%),請同學依數位學院教學公告之時間實施。 6.對於課程學習如有任何問題,歡迎同學至課程討論區提出,老師將盡速回覆。

課程簡介(以100至200字為原則):
The course aims to develop the issue deriving from global tourism collapse from the COVID-19 by promoting a hometown's culture and heritage through a city, local, and community. By incorporating international schools on the platform-APEC Cyber Academy, students through collaborative learning to broaden their global views and strengthen their capacity to observe the problem, collect information, ask questions, propose a hypothesized solution, evaluate their action, and write a reflection on the whole learning process. Through those learning process, students become an advocator to execute the Sustainable Development Goals 11─ to strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world's cultural and natural heritage.

Brief Introduction of Course Contents:
The aim of this course is to build up students’ confidence in using English to deal with issues related to tourism and hospitality in the real world. The teaching contents will follow the layout: Trends in tourism, hotel branding, sustainability, heritage, managing events, and gastronomy. At the end of this course, students will be able to use their critical thinking to analyze tourist industry real problems and try to provide a solution to those problems.
