本課程主要在訓練學生在使用英語文的觀光旅遊環境下,能作有效而適切的溝通。主題涵蓋出國前準備、機場出境、機上、抵達入境、住宿、餐廳。課程將依各主題講解相關辭彙、表達用語、及情境會話,並適度補充相關資料,期同學能習得觀光專業英語文的閱讀與聽說能力,進而能在世界各地無語言障礙下從事觀光旅遊活動。

Brief Introduction of Course Contents:
This course is intended to prepare students to fluently and effectively communicate in English, in the context of tourism. Focus will be placed on the following topics: before the trip, airport departure, during the flight, arrival, accommodation, and restaurants during the journey. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the class activities, and are expected to be able to engage in overseas travel without language obstacles after completion of the course. This course will be conducted according to the syllabus, and the related vocabulary, expressions, and conversations reflecting real-life situations will be taught, and supplementary materials will be made available to the students during the class. The ultimate goal of this course is to help the students enhance their reading, listening, and speaking competences in the context of English for Tourism. It's hoped that students would eventually possess the ability to travel abroad on their own without a language problem.
